Becoming Catholic begins with a period of study/instruction called RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). This is the normal method for non-Catholics to enter the Church and for Catholics to complete the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.)
In St. Francis Parish and the missions of St. Stephen's and Our Lady of the Valley, we have 32 lessons leading up to the beginning of Lent and the final lessons focusing on Lenten preparation for the reception into the Church during the Easter vigil.
